Given the current COVID-19 situation and international travel restrictions, the internship would most likely
be conducted remotely / online. However, we aren’t dismissing the possibility of on-site internship
and that,
should Japan ease travel restrictions, the organizers will coordinate with accepted applicants regarding the
required documents for on-site internship here at NAIST.
Bona fide students from the Ateneo de Manila University's School of Science and Engineering (SOSE) may apply. They must be:
(1) currently enrolled as an undergraduate student in his/her final year (4th or 5th year);
(2) currently enrolled as a master's degree student; or
(3) B.S. and M.S. graduates who are interested to get a graduate degree in Japan (especially in NAIST).

The internship will be from 6 - 21 January 2022.
The deadline is on 7 November 2021, 11:59PM (Philippine Standard Time).
Results will be released early-December 2021.
A total of 5-10 interns will be accepted.
Successful applicants will be assigned to one of their chosen laboratories. However, if for some reason the laboratory you selected is not able to accommodate you, you will be assigned to the one nearest to your field of interest. We recommend that you choose laboratories that match your current research projects/ interests, or can provide technical/research skills that you want to acquire

You may send an email to your host professor to introduce yourself, and discuss potential topics you will be working on during your internship.
